What Intelligence is for

Tracking your spend is only half the job. The other half is noticing when something changes and knowing what to do about it. That's what the Intelligence page is for. Instead of you checking the dashboard every day looking for problems, TokenFront checks every time new data syncs and surfaces the two things actually worth your attention:

• Something looks unusual, like a spike, a key gone quiet, or a platform suddenly silent. That's the Anomalies tab.
• There's a concrete way to spend less, like a cheaper model that'd do the same job, or spend piled onto one vendor. That's the Insights tab.

A third tab, Rules, is where you choose what TokenFront watches for: a monitoring pack, any signals you want on or off on top of it, and how sensitive the alerts are.

The ongoing value

This is the part of TokenFront that works even when you're not looking at it. Once you've connected your platforms and picked a monitoring pack that fits (see Monitoring packs & signals), you can go back to your actual job. TokenFront keeps checking your spend in the background, and if you've turned on the notification preference for it, emails you when something's worth knowing about instead of you finding out at the end of the month when the invoice lands.

Those checks can only see what your providers have reported so far, and providers report usage anywhere from a few minutes to many hours after it happens (see How current the data is). So Intelligence is built to catch changes well before the invoice, not to stop a job while it's still running.

What each plan includes

Free watches for sudden spend spikes and model retirements on your connected platforms and flags them on the Anomalies tab (and by email, if anomaly alerts are on in Notifications). Every paid plan runs every anomaly check — new models, dormant keys, request surges, spend thresholds and more — plus savings Insights and the Rules tab.
