TokenFront can email you instead of you having to remember to check the dashboard. Everything below is opt-in or opt-out from your account settings. Nothing is locked on.
If you're part of a team (see Team members), these preferences are personal — turning on real-time alerts for yourself doesn't turn them on for anyone else in your organization, and vice versa. Everyone sets their own.
The three email types
Daily digest: one email a day summarizing yesterday's spend and anything currently open in Anomalies or Insights. On by default. This is the "read this over coffee" email.
Weekly savings digest: sent Mondays, this pulls together the current Insights findings ranked by estimated savings, so you get a once-a-week roundup of the concrete ways to spend less instead of needing to check the Insights tab yourself. On by default, and independent from the daily digest, so you can turn either one off without affecting the other.
Real-time alerts: an email the moment an anomaly is detected, rather than waiting for the next daily digest. Off by default, since not everyone wants an inbox ping the instant something happens. If you turn it on, you can also set a minimum severity (info, warning, or critical) so you're only alerted on things that clear your bar, not every minor blip.
Sending these to Slack or Microsoft Teams
You can also relay any of the three types above into a Slack or Microsoft Teams channel, in addition to email. Paste an incoming webhook URL from either one into Account → Notifications — TokenFront detects which kind it is automatically, no separate setting needed.
The Slack/Teams toggle doesn't send anything by itself — it delivers whichever of the three types above are already turned on. If you turn it on without enabling anything else, nothing will actually reach your channel; a warning on the settings page tells you if that's the case.
Like the email preferences, this is personal — each team member who wants alerts in chat sets up their own webhook. If a lot fires at once (a first-time setup finding a backlog, for example), you get one grouped summary message instead of a flood of individual pings.
Changing your preferences
Go to Account → Notifications to turn any of these on or off, set the real-time alert severity threshold, or add a Slack/Teams webhook.
Unsubscribing from an email directly
Every email has an unsubscribe link at the bottom. Clicking it takes you to a confirmation page. It asks you to confirm before turning anything off, rather than acting the instant you click, since some email security tools automatically open links in messages before a person ever reads them. Confirm once and you're done. You can always turn it back on later from Account → Notifications.
If your email client supports one-click unsubscribe (Gmail, Outlook, and Apple Mail all do), that button works too and skips the confirmation page. It's tied to the same preference.
If an unsubscribe link says it's invalid or expired
This usually means the link was already used, or it's from an old email. Sign in and manage the same preference directly from Account → Notifications instead.
