Team members
Every TokenFront account belongs to an organization — even a solo account, which just has one member. Everyone in the same organization sees the same connected platforms, cost history, and Intelligence findings. There's nothing to keep in sync between teammates; there's just one shared view.
Roles
There are two roles: Owner and Member.
- Owner: everything a Member can do, plus inviting/removing people, transferring ownership, and managing billing (upgrading, downgrading, canceling, adjusting platform overage). Whoever creates the account starts as Owner. There's always exactly one Owner.
- Member: full access to the dashboard, Reports, and Intelligence, and can connect, edit, or remove platforms just like the Owner can — the same numbers, the same detail, nothing held back. The only things a Member can't do are invite or remove people, transfer ownership, and see or change billing.
There's no third role and no per-person permission toggles. Anyone you invite gets full visibility into the organization's data; the only thing the Owner/Member split controls is who can manage the team and the account's billing.
Inviting someone
From Account → Team, Owners can invite by email. The invite is good for 7 days. If you send a second invite to the same address before the first one is used, it replaces the first rather than creating a duplicate — the original link stops working and only the newest one is valid.
The person you invite gets an email with a link. If they don't have a TokenFront account yet, following it lets them set a name and password and join directly — no separate signup step. Once they accept, they immediately see everything the organization already has: connected platforms, cost history, open anomalies, all of it.
How many people you can invite depends on your plan. Free is capped at 1 member total (so Free accounts can't invite anyone else — upgrading is what unlocks it). Pro and Business both include unlimited team members.
If the invite says the email already has an account
TokenFront doesn't support one email belonging to two organizations, and invites can't merge two existing accounts together. If you invite someone whose email already has a separate TokenFront account, they'll see a message saying so instead of being able to accept — contact hi@tokenfront.io and we'll help sort it out.
Removing someone
Owners can remove a Member from Account → Team. They lose access immediately — the connected platforms, cost history, and everything else in the organization. This doesn't delete their TokenFront account; it just ends their membership in yours. The Owner can't be removed this way (see below).
Transferring ownership
An Owner can hand ownership to any existing Member from Account → Team — useful if someone's leaving the team or you're handing off account management. The moment it's confirmed, the other person becomes Owner and you become a regular Member. Ownership can be transferred back the same way later if needed.
Where billing fits in
Only the Owner sees billing controls (upgrade, manage plan, cancel). Members see the organization's current plan on their own Account page, but the controls themselves are hidden — if you're a Member and need something billing-related, ask your Owner.
