Finding your way around

TokenFront has five main areas, listed down the left side of the app.

Dashboard

The home screen once you log in: a grid of widgets showing your spend, totals, trends, and breakdowns by platform. This is the screen you'd check first thing in the morning. You can rearrange, resize, add, and remove widgets to make it your own. See Setting up your dashboard.

Platforms

Where you connect and manage each AI provider (OpenAI, Anthropic, AWS Bedrock, OpenRouter). Each one shows up as a card with a status badge:

  • Live Data (green): connected and pulling in real numbers
  • Key Error (amber): connected, but the credential isn't working (expired, revoked, or missing the right permissions)
  • No API Key (grey): added but no credential entered yet

From here you can also trigger a manual sync, edit a connection, or remove one. Full setup steps are in Connecting platforms.

Reports

The detailed, line-item view of every cost record, organized by platform, then by API key, then by individual day. This is where you go to answer "what exactly made up that number." See Reports.

Intelligence

Three tabs in one page:

  • Anomalies: unusual spending patterns TokenFront noticed on its own
  • Insights: concrete ways to spend less
  • Rules: the settings that control what gets flagged and how sensitively

See What Intelligence is for for the full picture.

Account

Your profile, notification preferences, plan, and team. Notification settings cover which emails you get (daily digest, weekly savings digest, real-time alerts) and how sensitive real-time alerts should be — see Notifications. If you're the Owner, this is also where you invite people and manage the team — see Team members.

The top bar

Along the top of every screen, you'll find a light/dark mode toggle and your account menu (sign out, account settings). The theme choice is remembered the next time you log in, on that device.
